33/365: Canterbury Cathedral

For me, one of the perks of living in Canterbury, is being able to go to the Cathedral and listen to the choir. Today was Candlemas, which is a particularly beatiful service already, and it was set to Schubert’s Mass in G, I mass we sang with my choir from Girona many, many years ago. It is amazing how the experience of having sang or played music fixes every note, word and emotion so clearly in your brain. Whether or not you believe in God, it is hard not to feel lifted by this music and in this building.
